Story from behind the lens: While staying at the Wild Eye Mara camp we had the opportunity to take a balloon safari one morning with Governors Balloons. The balloons took off just before dawn and as the sun emerged over the horizon we were rewarded with a beautiful sunrise and some incredible new perspectives. As I looked down I spotted a small herd of waterbuck grazing in these lush swamps and the light and shadow brought a great opportunity to capture the moment.
