Description: Nashipae perched on a mound in beautiful early morning colors with one of her four cubs between her legs and one peeking out from behind.
Story from behind the lens: We waited for some time for Nashipae and her young cubs to emerge from their sleep in the tall grass. She eventually brought them out and perched on a few mounds while the little ones played nearby. This is the first time I've seen cheetah cubs this small and when one of the little ones peeked between her mother'slegs against this beautiful setting, I was thrilled. Of course, with four active cubs, it's hard to get a completely clean shot, so I choose to embrace the little peeking face behind Nashipae.
