Description: Apprehensive young black rhino while mum is browsing in the bush behind

Story from behind the lens: We heard that three rhino, including a calf, were hidden in the thickets near Kichwa Tembo airstrip and unsuccessfully spent a large part of the morning trying to find them, which included getting stuck in the mud. By afternoon it was overcast and colder but we decided to go and have one last look before returning to camp for our last night in the Mara, and success! Even when they came out of the thickets it was difficult to get a good shot due to the tall grass but we managed a handful in focus.
