Description: Lioness snarls at the Rongai males to warn them about coming any closer to her cubs.

Story from behind the lens: We came across two of the lionesses from the Ilkisiusiu pride early one morning with their cubs, three of which were very small. When one of the lionesses spotted two of the Rongai males coming in their direction, she started growling & hissing at them in attempt to keep them away from her cubs. Thankfully there was no serious interaction & in this instance the males kept their distance.
