Description: Croc attack on the Mara River

Story from behind the lens: The first major crossing on the Mara river for migration 2023 saw the northern zebra herds cross over from the inner reserve into the Mara Triangle. With not much herd movement from the wildebeest at what's know as "Serena main crossing point" the monster crocs of the Mara were super hungry. The crocs initially targeted the younger zebra foals as seen here with this unfortunate individual. All in all a dozen or so zebras were killed from a herd of approximate 2000 zebras crossing the perilous Mara river.
