Description: A cub looking warmly at Mom.

Story from behind the lens: One late afternoon we were driving on the wet side of the park from Zebra plains and found a group of three lionesses and a cub just waking up from a nap. Soon, the mom and the cub broke off from the group and started walking towards the river. We followed them for a while until they stopped to take a little break. When the break was over and it was time to move on, I took this shot of them having a little moment. They were looking at each other and it almost seemed like the cub was saying “mom just 5 more minutes ”, as he looked at her. It reminded me when I asked for 5 more minutes of sleep when it was time to wake up for school.
