Description: Malaika, a well-known Mara cheetah looks out toward the light and perhaps to check out what her two boys are up to.

Story from behind the lens: We found Malaika with her two cubs first thing in the morning on the last day of my stay in the Mara. The night before we had witnessed her taking down an impala and having a well deserved meal. She and the boys seemed very content the next morning and it was such a thrill to be able to see them one last time.
