Description: Magnificent leopard framed by sunset light and foliage

Story from behind the lens: As the day began to draw to a close and evening began to settle in across the Mara, we heard from another guide that a leopard had been spotted in some thick brush not far from our location. Uncertain as to what we might find, we headed towards the sighting to see what might be seen. Upon arriving, we were able to spot the female leopard through an opening in the thick underbrush. And, as the sun began to set, the sky lit up the area and bathed the scene in a beautiful gold color. Spending time in the company of a leopard always calls to mind a line from one of my favorite poems by Rumi - “Be motivated like the falcon, hunt gloriously. Be Magnificent as the Leopard, fight to win..."
