Description: Leopard head scratch

Story from behind the lens: Having spotted this leopard (Naitito) and her cub in the morning, she emerged from the bush alone. We followed her as we assumed she would hunt; this has often been the case with female leopards having young cubs. As she walked out into the open plains, we angled the vehicle so I could get a headshot of her walking towards us. She however walked past a fallen tree, where she grabbed the trunk and started to scratch her head vigorously! We chuckled at the sight as we commented that it almost looked as if she had snapped the tree herself!
