Description: Cheetah Cub

Story from behind the lens: The sun was rising and our guide spotted a cheetah mother and her two cubs. I wanted to get a backlit image, so our guide positioned the vehicle accordingly. The mother cheetah and her other cub then disappeared chasing a Jackal, leaving this cub by itself momentarily. The cub kept looking out for the return of the mother when suddenly it stared right down the barrel of my lens and I took this backlit image with the vegetation acting as a natural vignette.
