Description: Close-up of the famous leopard Split Nose.

Story from behind the lens: Split Nose was spotted relaxing in tree. There were a lot of vehicles positioned on the road near the tree. Unfortunately, the sun was on the wrong side of the tree. My guide Ntula positioned us more sideways of the tree at a reasonable distance. So, I could take pictures without the other vehicles in the frame. After a while Split Nose jumped out of the tree and walked through the high grass passing several vehicles to pop out of the grass just in front of me. He seemed to look for making eye contact. After taking the picture, I lowered the camera and made eye contact. Then he passed our vehicle just at the back, to cross the road and to disappear in the tall grass again.
