Description: After feeding on a wildebeest capture, this lion took a leisurely stroll late one evening in July. She was all alone and looked almost lost against the dramatic scenery.

Story from behind the lens: While I am a Nikon user, I brought a Fuji X-T1 on my last trip to capture wide angle scenes so my other cameras could be devoted to wildlife close ups and action shots. For landscapes and scenes like this, it does a nice job. The challenge for this photo was helping the lion stand out against a busy scene, so I opted for black and white in the end.
