Description: This gorgeous female lion took some time out to chill in the branches of a huge tree - the baby buffalo she had just killed was at its base.

Story from behind the lens: She was separated from her pride and had the kill to herself. My guide and I had this whole sighting to ourselves and we were lucky to spend so much quiet time with her. We left her when she descended the tree and began to eat her lunch, making us two hours late for ours. She was worth it!
