Description: Wildebeests jumping into the Mara River

Story from behind the lens: We were fortunate to witness several Mara River crossings last July 2023. Long durations, some lasting at least 30/60 minutes. Our guide Jimmy, such a strategic planner, always positioned our jeep just so: the magnificence of the spectacle was RIGHT there. Incredible.

I also wanted to record vignettes. Steep incline, so the wildebeests had to jump. You can see them assess, then leap, finally arrive. Quite reminiscent of us, in our daily lives.
