Story from behind the lens: As the mid-day sun rose high overhead, the air grew hot and the light harsh. As Bahati took a little cat-nap, I opted to make some false color images with a full-spectrum camera outfitted with a 720nm infrared filter. As the other vehicles left for their afternoons at camp, we were able to make a nice wide shot of the tree against the clear blue sky.
