Description: A dramatic image showing the juxtapositon of life and death. My image description is in the story as it did not want to load here. my apologies.

Story from behind the lens: Life and death is in close proximity here and is very powerfully conveyed especially with the direct gaze of the Lioness with her one eye, She being so powerful and alive; the wildebeest lifeless ;with a gaze of death in his eye. This is Life ; this is Death. This is Africa. Taken in the Masai Mara , Kenya. A lioness took down this wildebeest in front of us. It was the first hunt I had witnessed and I was amazed at the speed and strength of this lioness . It was all over in a few minutes. Later on the rest of the pride joined her, a few other lioness and lots of cubs.
