Description: Two male lions (Half Tail and Olongol) from the Marsh Pride dispatch a hapless hyena who wandered into the pride.

Story from behind the lens: We were set up on Half Tail during a rain storm waiting for him to shake off the rain, when all of a sudden we heard a loud scream and Half Tail jump up and ran past us. Our guide Dominic quickly got us turned around to see both Half Tail and Olongol bearing down on a hyena that one of the lioness of the pride had caught trying to infiltrate the pride where the cubs are. I think the young hyena just happen to wander into the wrong place at the wrong time. The male lions then proceeded to dispatch the unfortunate hyena as in keeping with their main job...to protect the pride. This hyena would learn the rules of Jungle Law this day...don't mess with lions.
