Description: Leopard king rest secure in his ivory treetop tower

Story from behind the lens: This was a unique experience for me. We arrived at the location and waited patiently for the 30 plus vehicles before us to get their 2 minutes with the leopard. The leopard was visible from a specific angle only and we got closer a male lion shows up and bumps the tree in an effort to get the gazelle kill to drop. In the process, the lion spooks the leopard to disappear higher up in the tree. Most vehicles depart the scene but we decide to wait and reposition. Eventually the leopard descends a bit and I was able to get this shot.

Worth the wait.
