Story from behind the lens: This male lion was resting quietly in the shade until a bird took flight from a nearby tree. Watching this lion track the bird as it flew over the tree he was under was interesting to watch. I don’t think I have ever seen a lion track a bird in flight. It must have been a slow day for this fellow. He went back to sleep after the bird passed by.
