Description: Cub from the Paradise pride almost being invisible in the tall grass
Story from behind the lens: During my stay in the Mara, the Paradise pride was "missing" for a period. After meeting a farmer who said his cows were spooked by lions, my guide and I went to investigate because it was in the Paradise pride territory. My guide looked to the left were the farmer said the lions should be, I looked to the right to make sure to have both sides of the vehicle covered. Luckely I saw a lioness popping her head (for a few seconds) above the grass to see what the noise was. We drove nearer a found almost the complete Paradise pride resting in the tall grass. Difficult to get a close sharp picture, so I decided to "play" with the autofocus with the joystick of the camera but also with the DOP to have some "alternative" pictures.
