Description: We followed Kisaru and his playful son for hours and I had many opportunities to capture the interaction between them.

Story from behind the lens: One of the last photographs of Kisaru and his son last December. I have been following Kisaru for several years that sadly was killed by hyenas/lions trying to defend her son. Kisaru was a great mother ans was 8 years of age & had a total of 8 litters in her lifetime. Kisaru's son has been captured and hee is being led to the Mara triangle. He will stay here until he is released again when he is 1.5-2 years old. Let's hope he has a long and good life.
