Story from behind the lens: Late one afternoon we decided to wait by a hyena den as we hoped that when the hyenas returned the pups would make an appearance. Luck was in our favour this time & in between all the frenetic grooming & bonding I was able to get this intimate portrait of one of the young pups by the den opening as he looked in our direction.
