Story from behind the lens: As I said, it was a beautiful moment yet challenging—a moment I dreamed of. Facing the most powerful animal, in my opinion, one of the black rock boys was patrolling the area. I heard him say, I am the king; does anyone dare?

We heard a call that there was a leopard in the area. We took off to find it, and all of a sudden we saw the mighty king walking 300 metres away. We decided to go see him, and it was before midnight; the sky was great and bright. We tried to watch him from the front with our guide, Leshan, position us in the perfect spot. I told him to stop here, and we saw Oloshipa the lion getting out of some grass, and while he was taking a step with his left hand, I took the shot. It was and still is magnificent for me; his face was clear, and everything looked sharp and beautiful. After all, power reveals itself.
