Story from behind the lens: As we drove past a launch site for hot air balloons during our early morning game drive, an ostrich emerged from the bush and began walking in the foreground. I was struck by the juxtaposition of the bird, flightless and stuck on the ground, and the hot air balloons, presumably filled with humans ready to defy their biology and take to the sky, and snapped this shot.
