Story from behind the lens: It was my first day on the Maasai Mara, and an unforgettable one. After searching all morning for lions, we found a couple sleeping in the long grass, barely detectable. My guide, Jeremy, always seemed to spot things first, despite being lower to the ground in the driver's seat! Slowly, in his own time, the male lion woke up, stretched, and held his head high to catch the news on the wind.
