Description: Rekero Pride Lioness successful hunt of baby giraffe

Story from behind the lens: It was around 4.30 PM in the evening when we noticed an lactating lioness from Rekero Pride drinking water. All of sudden this lioness notices 2 baby giraffe playing around unattended by its mother. Our guide Richard Generally was quick enough to notice this informed all of us to be prepared on what was expected to happen. With in the next few minutes, there was chaos amongst both 2 baby giraffe and one of them fell pray for the Lioness. By the time mama giraffe came to its rescue, it was already too late and she can be seen grieving for loosing her loved one.
