Description: A beautiful lioness wakes to the early morning soft light of the Mara

Story from behind the lens: This lioness (member of the Topi pride) was photographed a little apart from the pride as a beautiful early morning sun began to rise over the Mara. A short time later, we photographed the pride but this image is my favourite of that morning as she appears to be enjoying the peace and quiet of that moment.
