Description: Hyena feast

Story from behind the lens: We came across a hippo carcass with a mass of hyenas feasting on it. Like all hyena-shared meals - there was a frenzy of giggles and squeals! They were having a field day! However, I noticed the hippo's skin was still intact and wondered where the hyenas were eating from. So we moved the vehicle around the hippo to get a better view. Then out of the belly of the hippo, hyena after hyena crawled out! A slit on the hippo's side enabled the hyenas to dig through the mud and eat the hippo inside out!
