Story from behind the lens: This December morning in the Maasai Mara was nothing short of magical, with the soft, golden light painting the landscape. I had been fortunate enough to capture some incredible moments in the wild, but this one promised to be truly extraordinary.

We spotted the lioness emerging from her current den with one of her cubs held gently in her jaws. I clicked my camera shutter, witnessing and capturing this beautiful moment.
