Description: Herd of elephants gather along the plains of the Maasai Mara

Story from behind the lens: Our guide came across this herd of elephants along the Maasai Mara plains. We were coming towards the end of our time here, and one of my goals was to get a photo of a herd of elephants that would turn into a great panoramic shot. The matriarch stood in front of us, like a proud grandmother while her family continued to graze. It was the perfect family portrait.
