Description: Leopard and Hyena sharing a dead Hippo
Story from behind the lens: It was early morning, right after we left the Wild Eye Mara camp, when we saw a hyena eating on a dead hippo. Shujaa the leopard was in close proximity, when he decided to approach. Everyone was ready for a huge fight between the two of them. When against all expectations, they decided to share the meal. They were very aware of one another, even walking around the hippo and switching sides. We stayed with them for about 30 minutes, when the hyena decided it had enough and took of.
