Description: In amongst the thousands of animals leaping into the Mara River, one young zebra foal takes an instinctive leap to keep up with the herd.

Story from behind the lens: There were over a hundred thousand animals crossing the Mara River on this day. I singled out this young foal, hesitating to take that final plunge into the swirling waters. Finally it jumped and for me it's bravery amid the mayhem stood out as a testament to what these animals have to go through to follow along with the herd.
