Description: A leopard quietly sits, licking its paws clean after having its dinner.

Story from behind the lens: We had been on the lookout for a leopard specifically that day and had tried many of their favourite spots which Jackson knew they frequented. Just as we were about to call it a day and head home, a call come over the radio that a leopard was spotted nearby. We headed off in that direction, to come across a number of vehicles leaving the area. Apparently the leopard was enjoying its dinner, deeper into the bush and was very hard to see. We parked the truck and waited. Our patience was rewarded as this gorgeous leopard strolled into a less dense area and decided to take a drink, clean its paws and then proceed to slowly disappear from sight back into the bush. This moment was so magical and fleeting. I will be forever thankful that we were fortunate enough to experience this moment.
