Story from behind the lens: The sky began to turn and with a gap in between the showers the sun was setting. I've always loved the dramatic skies that the Masai Mara gives us during the rains. As we were following Kulete and her two cubs, I wanted to capture the dramatic scene with a subject that was going to add to the scene and not take away from it. I told Nelson what my vision for the shot was and he managed to get me into the right place to capture the scene.
