Description: Imani caught in the act, just after the kill of an impala

Story from behind the lens: One hot afternoon whilst on a game drive we had word that Imani was nearby. As we got there she had just made a kill, we had only missed this by a few minutes. She had dragged the impala into a nearby bush. The shot captures a moment as she emerged out of the bush with blood on her face. The natural framing created by the leaves combined with the strong colours of Imani made the frame striking and beautiful.
