Story from behind the lens: As the day progressed, the clouds began to build and so we stopped the Rover to look across the grassy plain and have a drink of water. As we waited, this majestic solitary elephant walked towards our vehicle, stopped, grabbed a trunkful of grass and paused to eat. The texture of the grass in the foreground coupled with the texture of the elephants skin seem to pop in black and white. The blur of the background, coupled with the depth of the building storm clouds paint an ominous picture. The calm appearance of this elephant is in stark contrast to the building storm in the background.
