Description: Two of the three Salas boys lie together late in the evening after one of the three limped in to join them.
Story from behind the lens: It was an amazing first evening in the Mara. First we watched the lionesses and young cubs playing and then were able to witness all three salas boys (Olepoulos, Orkitok and Osapuk) greet each other and then relax together. One of them had been injured, which I assume is not all that unusual for these active boys. It was so endearing watching them together. I especially loved this close up pose, but the sun had gone and we were really trying to push our luck into darkness. I wish we could have had a little more time, but still, I decide not to give up even if it meant very, very his ISO.
