Story from behind the lens: This little lion cub lives his happiest days under the protection of his elders. We saw him emerging from the body of a large buffalo, which the Topi Plains pride was feeding on. He will soon grow up and will have to face a tough future. In addition to all the challenges and dangers that the kings of the savannah face throughout their lives, they will face an increasingly uncertain future for their species. We photographed this future king of the Masai Mara while being at Cheetah Tented Camp.
