Description: Leopard, Bahati, peeks out from her tree after bringing a gazelle kill into the branches

Story from behind the lens: We came across Bahati shortly after she took down a gazelle and began bringing it into the tree. We stayed with her for hours as many other land cruisers came and went. The patience really paid off. As the sun began lowering in the sky, the leopard peeked out from the leaves to scout the surroundings before heading down to find a nearby watering hole.
