Description: A lioness and two sub-adults look intensely at a potential prey

Story from behind the lens: We came upon the Topi pride first thing in the morning. The young cubs were still hiding in the tall grass but the lionesses and sub-adults were up and about. One of the lionesses spotted a Topi in the distance and two of the young joined her on the mound to assess the potential. They decided the prey was too far off so continued their morning rituals.
