Story from behind the lens: We were just heading back to camp for the afternoon, so were surprised but thrilled to come across this lone hippo in a small mud pool. It wasn't long before the hippo put on a show, thrashing around the water with its monstrous mouth, allowing me to capture this jaw-dropping moment, quite literally!
