Story from behind the lens: Waking up early in the morning, my primary objective was to find an animal to frame against the sunrise. Deciding to use a faster shutter speed and low ISO to silhouette the wildebeest, I hoped to have it stand out against the golden sky. My guide positioned the jeep in a way that allowed me to frame the beautiful creature symmetrical with acacia trees in the distance. Leaning out of the jeep with my camera almost touching the ground, I was able to enhance the image with a low angle.
