We were just about to call it a day. I was tired from an almost full-day game drive. We were on our way to the lodge and on the way, we saw a cheetah grabbing an impala by the neck. It seemed like we missed the kill, however, we were just a tad late. We stayed for about 10 minutes. It started becoming dark and the sun descended lower and lower each minute. For a moment, this cheetah stopped feasting on its meal and stood up to look out for potential danger. This was a perfect scene as the glorious cheetah was outlined by the golden light of the sunset.
