Scar did not kill this zebra, but he gladly dragged it into a bush for himself while the females and young ones looked on. The zebra clearly didn’t see it coming – he still had grass in his mouth. Since Scar escaped underneath some bushes to be alone, patience was required for him to bring his face out of the shadows. Luckily, he turned the zebra’s face towards the camera at the same moment.
