IT’S REALLY QUITE SIMPLE

We’ve made it as easy as possible to enter, but of course there are some important bits that can’t be missed: like the camera and the settings you used, who your guide was, and agreeing to the competition’s Terms & Conditions. And all entries are subject to a $20 donation to one of our conservation partners, each with a track record of making a difference in the Mara.

TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY

1.
Take a beautiful image in the Maasai Mara – it needs to have been taken in the last 12 months preceding entry.
2.
Upload the image and your details in a simple step-by-step process (don’t worry, we will guide you!). Make sure you have the details of the lodge or camp where you stayed, who your guide was in the Mara, the camera settings used, and your story from behind the lens.

You’ll receive confirmation by email once your entry is submitted, and another once it is approved and entered into the competition. Watch out for your entry on Instagram.

Your entry will be judged against the other entries received during the month in which you entered, and a monthly winner will be declared who will become a finalist for the Photographer of the Year, which will be announced on the 6th of December 2018. We’ll keep you in the loop by email.
