Story from behind the lens: It was late morning when we found Roho on a tree with a jackal kill. We watched him as he devoured his meal meanwhile observing the hyena who was at the base of the tree. Here, he was taking in his surroundings and stared down the barrel of my lens as if to tell me that it was his kill, and had no intention to share it with anyone as I managed to freeze the moment in time.
