Description: Hyena head shake
Story from behind the lens: We were watching a pack of hyenas that had just killed a new born buffalo calf. It was quite hot and due to the recent rains there were small pools of water everywhere. One hyena decided to go on the other side of our car. I was still watching the hyena kill and my guide told me to look on the other side as the hyena got into the small pool of water to cool off. I turned and got his head shake just in time! It's a narrow photo as the hyena was right near our car, so that's all I got!
