Story from behind the lens: The Alpha Male of the pride had just settled into a comfortable position on a rock face when one of his cubs thought it might be fun to have a visit, maybe even play with his Dad's tail??? Dad made it clear in no uncertain terms he was not in the mood for playtime. I got the image while standing in my safari vehicle using the roof as a tripod. From my elevated angle I was at eye level with the scene.
