Story from behind the lens: I took this photo on our last day in the Maasai Mara. This powerful leopard was the last of the big 5 we spotted on safari. I remember our excitement as we finally spotted her. As she dragged her recent kill high up in the tree, she surveyed her surroundings, unbothered by her visitors. Her eyes are what I remember most; green and piercing and full of strength.
