Description: Cheetah hunts are very difficult to photograph. I was very lucky when the cat came sprinting right where we anticipated.

Story from behind the lens: We followed this amazing Cheetah & her cubs for 3 days where she would hunt 3 or 4 times daily but most were a miss! She managed to catch this gazelle but unfortunately lost it to a hyena. This is when you realize that Cheetah's have a tough life!
